Frisch in der Bezirksklasse angekommen mussten wir uns am 1. Spieltag in Zeven mit TuS Brockel 1 und BSG Rhade 1 messen.

In der Partie gegen Brockel gelang uns ein guter Saisonstart. Nach den Doppeln führten wir schnell mit 3:0. In den anschließend ausgespielten 1. und 2. Einzel waren Nils Pfefferkorn und Norbert Reiß relativ chancenlos, so dass Brockel auf 3:2 verkürzen konnte. Nun waren noch das 3. Herreneinzel, das Dameneinzel sowie das Mixed offen, unsere Hoffnungen auf mindestens ein Unentschieden wuchsen.
Rene Röhler gelang es im ersten Einsatz für die 1. Mannschaft im 3. Herreneinzel gegen Wolfgang Holst den 4. Punkt für uns zu sichern. Durch weitere Siege von Alexandra Tettmann im Dameneinzel (21:2 21:3) sowie durch Irina Gross und Frank Giesges im Mixed war der 6:2 Auftaktsieg perfekt!

Leider sollte es gegen Rhade nicht so positiv weitergehen. 1. HD sowie Mixed wurden knapp über 3 Sätze verloren.
Gewinnen konnten wir nur das Damendoppel sowie Dameneinzel, was am Ende eine 2:6 Niederlage bedeutete.
Damit blieb Alexandra Tettmann als einzige in der Bezirksklasse noch ungeschlagen.

Mit 2:2 Punkten belegen wir nun erstmal einen soliden Mittelfeldplatz.
